NDLEA ARREST FIVE INCLUDING SINGER ZINOLEESKY AND MOHBAD

Zinoleesky and Mohbad, along with three of their pals, were then arrested by NDLEA agents.

The arrest of the musicians was announced live on camera, and the video has since gone viral.

Femi Babafemi, the Director of Media and Advocacy, confirmed the singers' arrests in an exclusive interview with Daily Trust.

He claimed that the agency's agents discovered illegal drugs in the artists' homes, which led to their detention.

"They were arrested because we had reliable information that they were in possession of drugs," he explained. We swooped down on them and snatched drugs from them. As a result, five of them, three males and two girls, were arrested.

“When their house was searched we found in their possession molly and cannabis. The investigation is still ongoing but we have to trace where they are getting these substances from.”

Their record label, Marlian Record headed by Naira Marley, reacted to the news of the arrest of their signees.

Shortly after the arrest of his signees, Naira Marley took to his Instagram story to tell his fans that he was very angry, he simply wrote, “I’m so angry right now.”
