Nigeria Trashed Sudan 3-1 in AFCON Second Leg Round

The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Saturday 15th, 2022 trashed the Falcons of Jediane in a 3-1 victory at the Stade Roumdé Adjia Garoua, Cameroon.

Moses Simon was the man of the match for the super eagles as he had the second goal of the game, while Samuel Chukwueze netted the first goal as TaiwoAwoniyi scored the 3rd goal in the match. The Super Eagles came into the match on the back of their massive performance against Pharaohs trashing them 1-0 while The Falcons of jediane played Guinea Bissau to a Non win game 0-0.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Falcon of jediane in sudan are meeting for the third time in the African Cup Of Nations (AFCON), but its their firs encounter at the tournament for 46years.

Sudan won the first match 4-0 in the year 1963 group phase while Nigeria won the second 1-0 in the year 1976.
