Nigeria Super Eagles Has Crashed Out Of the Ongoing Afcon 2022, After They Losed 1-0 to The Tunisians On Sunday

Tunisian player,Youssef Msakni scored the game-winning goal in the 47th minute on sunday at the roumdé Adjia stadium, advancing the Carthage Eagles to the quarter-finals.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria, who have a perfect record in their AFCON 2022 group matches, find the Tunisians too difficult to break down, and their mission of drawing level becomes more difficult after changing Iheanacho for Alex Iwobi at 59 minutes after the match had begun, he was sent off.

The Everton player barely lasted six minutes in the game after committing an intentional foul for which he was initially given a yellow card, but the referee went to the VAR to verify and then showed him a red card, leaving the Eagles with ten players.

With so much riding on the game, it fails to live up to expectations as both teams struggle to produce chances, and the two incidents that occurred in the second half have now become the match's talking points.

Umar Sadiq had the finest chance to add to the cup's increasing list of late-game drama, but his shot rolled across the goal and wide of the far post.

With the Super Eagles out of the AFCON 2022, Tunisia will face Burkina Faso in the quarter-finals on Saturday, January 29, 2022.
